FAQs

Exploring our common questions answered.

A whole-home water filtration system treats water at the main point of entry, so clean, filtered water is available throughout the house for drinking, cooking, bathing, and cleaning.

Reverse osmosis pushes water through a semipermeable membrane that removes dissolved contaminants like chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities, producing purified water for drinking and cooking.

It depends on the system and on your water. For most systems, filters are replaced every 6 to 12 months. We tell you what yours needs at installation, and you can call us any time to check.

Usually yes, at the sink. An under-sink reverse osmosis system fits in a standard cabinet and needs no change to the building’s plumbing. Treating a whole building at the point of entry is a different conversation, and one that normally involves the building rather than a single unit. Tell us which you are and we will say which applies.

Our systems address a wide range of contaminants including chlorine, lead, heavy metals, sediment, iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. Which of those matter for your house depends on your water, which is why we test first.

Systems are sized to maintain normal household pressure. Correct sizing is the whole game here, and it is why we look at your plumbing and your usage before quoting.
